Health Safety & Environment System (HSES)

A strong Health and Safety culture exists within Lefebvre Engineering, driven by understanding and ownership of personal and collective safety. This is led by a dedicated and pro-active management team who maintain the highest levels of visibility within our workplace.

The welfare, safety and security of everyone who works for Lefebvre Engineering is critical to the success of the business. The health and safety of the public and communities who may be affected by the Companies business activities are also important. In this regard, HSE management is vital to delivery of quality and business excellence.

Lefebvre Engineering has continued to build on the Safety Audit Program ("SAP"). Safety leadership training is an important element in communicating the importance of safety performance and general vigilance in improving the safety culture and awareness.

Our business plans include meeting and exceeding measurable HSE targets, something everyone at Lefebvre Engineering is committed to achieving.

Hazards are inherent in any Company or business, more so in our line of business. Lefebvre Engineering’s goal of reducing these hazards to a level as low as reasonable practicable has been greatly assisted in the implementation of SAP, a program developed for the identification and control of hazards and near misses by the workforce.

Protection of our environment is one of the cornerstones of our operating philosophy. Our policy is to strive to achieve continuous improvement in environmental performance. We are committed to preventing pollution and reducing the overall impact of our operations on the environment. In addition, we maintain an internal management structure for the management of environmental issues which includes clearly defined responsibilities for environmental management capable of delivering this policy commitment. Our environmental performance is managed through local Environmental Management Systems developed to be consistent with the Group policies and expectations.
